As a researcher in the philosophy of AI, I’m interested in exploring the novel issues relating to the link between computation, cognition and consciousness in AI. I am also engaged in exploring the ethical aspects of AI tools and their implementation in society.
Having recently finished a PhD in philosophy, I occupy a number of advisory roles within the Vatican’s Dicastery for Culture and Education, the Catholic Church’s representative to the EU, as well as with business and social entities locally and internationally. I am the Holy See's representative at the Council of Europe on matters pertaining to AI.
